The Lobotomist

Walter Freeman was a Lobotomist that was trying to cure people that were insane by shattering their frontal lobe.  He did successfully change the person so they could be released from mental facilities but they still could not live social lives or function properly.  Doctors opposed him but the public thought it was great and was helping society.  I think that Walter Freeman was trying to be a good doctor but only focused on the positives of lobotomy and not the bad.  He thought he was doing the right thing but the patients he operated on did not get any better than they were before the Lobotomy operations.  He had also killed a few patients and it did not phase him at all which tells me that he was crazy.  Because of his perspective on his work I think that he was a mad man trying to be a good doctor.

Crazy Celebrity

Adolf Hitler: Dictator of Germany during WWII.  Wanted to terminate all jews by putting them in concentration camps.  He ended up getting Germany in a 2 sided war against Russia and the allies.  Once they were on the verge of losing the war, he commited suicide.

Cognitive: Hitler believed that if he got rid of all the jews then he would become a hero to the public and become successful.

Psychodynamic: Because Hitler did terrible in school and had no money or place to live once his mother and father died, he started to act against jews because of stereotypes that they were successful.

Biological: It is a fact that people with stressful lives tend to be more aggressive. Hitler had both of his parents die before he was 20 and had no money or job.  He uses his aggression to make people suffer.

Humanistic: Hitler's experience in the German Army made him want more power than just a gun.  He wanted to become the leader of the army so he could spread his power across the continent.

Behavioral: Hitler was promoted for his duty in the army which was to kill and this made him think that if he killed more he would be rewarded even more.

Social-Cultural: As dictator he continued his aggression but acted defensively whenever something didn't go his way.

About Me

I was born in Arizona and moved here when I was 4.  We moved here because most of our family lived in the area.  I love to watch all sports and I'm a fan of all Wisconsin teams and BRETT FAVRE.  I also love to fish on Lake Michigan with my dad and hunt up north at the cabin.  Random things about me: I collect shot glasses, have double jointed fingers, and am planning on joining the navy after this year
